“I began the journey in 1996 to owning my own business due to the lack of fulfillment that I had found during my search for inner peace. I had been on this quest for inner peace since I was about 20 years old- nothing resonated with my core spiritual truth, whether they be books, seminars, workshops, or churches. I wasn't displeased with any of the teachings; however, none of them fully encompassed what was at the core of me.
I have great respect for people that have found one particular religious teaching that speaks to their heart fully and completely. But, I wondered why I couldn’t find that for myself. Then it came to me through an intuitive message, “I was developing my listening abilities; my intuitive abilities from Source through each of these experiences so that I could teach”. I always wanted to be a teacher when I was young but had no idea what I wanted to teach. What I did know, from a very young age, is that I had the ability to communicate with Spirit Guides and people that had passed over. Out of self judgment, and the judgments of others, I chose to shut it down.
Once I made this connection and removed the judgments (you can read more on how I did this, from my first book “Stepping Beyond Judgment, Embracing Your Truth”) I was able to embrace my true calling, which was to teach others how to listen to their intuition. Once you remove the mind chatter and judgments, everyone is intuitive. What is left is the ability to receive messages from Source. Many people are praying to Source but not clearing the blocks that keep them from receiving the answers.
I believe that as the world continues to challenge our everyday lives through human circumstances, we must find our connection to Source (whatever the name you give it – i.e. God, Universal Energy, or just plain gut instinct) in order to live a life filled with joy. This is imperative and can be done in various ways. Religious discipline is one of many choices we have been given to accomplish this, however as I said before it didn’t fulfill all of what I needed to find my core truth and connection to Source. Therefore, over the past 13 years with my connection to Spirit, I have developed my own curriculum. This curriculum is designed to remove anything that is blocking your connection to Source, and then assist you in developing that same connection. It is not religious in nature and is designed to give you the tools necessary through spiritual and physical discipline to achieve a level of personal integrity and a partnership with Source that is unwavering. Each course is uniquely designed to address a particular block/wound that has clogged the path to your true communication. My book Divine Wisdom outlines the curriculum, but of course the classes themselves delve much deeper into clearing the passageway and your ability to listen to your own inner guidance.
I am dedicated to this work and stand behind every teaching that I have received over the years. My personal evolvement continues to expand and grow as well as challenge my connection and humanity throughout this journey. However, once I knew that my purpose was to move people to a higher level of consciousness, by helping them to develop their intuitive abilities, this became my passion and I was determined to make this happen.
After making the decision that I would commit my life to teaching people how to remove the blocks that keep them from receiving their messages I needed to build a plan on how this was going to look physically in my life. Beginning with what do I call the business? In 1996 I was driving my oldest son Jacob to school one day and I asked him “what do you think I should call my new business”? His reply was without a moment of hesitation "Intuitive Development". And so it began...
The Center for Intuitive Development is dedicated to helping you become self-sufficient in your connection to Source. This takes a great deal of spiritual and physical discipline and personal integrity. While you are on the journey and learning the tools necessary to achieve the outcome you desire, we are committed to holding you accountable for that which you say you wish to achieve with love and compassion, ultimately embracing your own truth along the way!
When you are in full connection to Source and living from your own Truth, making the right decisions for yourself inevitably benefits everyone involved and gives you a life of total connection free of pain, struggle and fear.
