The curriculum we teach at The Center is designed to confront your life and the motivators you use to experience life. Ultimately, it takes you to a point of becoming willing to surrender the process to your Internal guidance system (Spirit). Then and only then can you release and see your way through the old way of living without pain, struggle and fear as your motivator to self-awareness.

When we learn to confront our own fears we become more willing to confront others too. This is the beginning of becoming a person with self-awareness. Most often people will drift through life unwilling to deal with the core issue even when they already know it isn’t beneficial. This is because it appears too painful to really face it. Unfortunately, many people can be stuck for years in this state. For some, it can even be a lifetime.

Are we truly willing to do the work necessary to achieve self-awareness? Being willing is the key to awakening. I may say this with ease, but I certainly know it’s not easy. The teachings and concepts of our curriculum are tried and true, and it takes time, effort and a willingness to succeed. I do know that once you face the pain, struggle and fears in your life, and make the decision to completely surrender yourself to Spirit, all else melts away in comparison to the trust you feel and the peace that lives within that trust.

Much love,

Lynn

I’m writing this to share my journey with others. I’ve been on this path for about 18 years, but over the last eight I have made the most progress.

I met Lynn in 2003 when my daughter, Lee, introduced our family to her and we have all benefitted in one form or another.

For me this has been a slow process. I had a lot of old beliefs (Releasing Old Beliefs Course) that I was holding onto for many reasons, but as I worked through them I grew as a person. During my first year of classes I began to see who I was, how I lived my life, and how I could have a much more fulfilling life. I gained the tools that helped me begin to live the life I was truly meant to have. As a coach in the second year I began practicing my tools, taking responsibility for my choices and realizing my life could be what I chose for it to be. I was also able to help new participants begin to see who they were and the possibilities they had in their lives. Helping them learn the tools they needed for their growth. As an intern in my third year I was much more aware of what I needed to do to move my life forward. I realized that when something happened in my life there was a reason. If it was negative, that meant I had missed a message from my Guide and he was trying to get my attention. I’m now aware that when we stay connected we can manifest what we desire.

In the last phase of the Certification Program we spend the year working on our personal manifestations and helped the coaches with their growth. My manifestation for my intern year was to be in a committed relationship. If you know me, it took me many years to even say those words. My divorce was final in May 1998 and it was probably 2007 before I would even entertain the thought of another relationship. Even when I stated this as my manifestation I didn’t truly believe in my heart this may happen. It wasn’t until 2010 that I really felt like I wanted a committed relationship and was willing to do what it took to make this happen. I got out of my own way and did what I knew to do and trusted I would achieve my desired outcome. That doesn’t mean it was smooth sailing! The end of July I went on the computer and joined an online dating service, which is totally out of my comfort zone. I opened the lines of communication and finally agreed to meet one of the men I met online. We had several dates and spoke on the phone for hours every day. I learned to have fun with someone even on the phone. He brought out the playfulness in me. After a few weeks I realized that he was fun, but was not able to be supportive in other aspects of a relationship. We ended as friends and we both moved on. This was major growth for me.

On another occasion, I received an Instant Message on the dating site from someone wanting to chat. This was new to me, but with no time to go into my head, I was forced to trust my message to converse with someone unknown right there on the spot! He was very attentive and caring and we began messaging back and forth. When we met for the first time I realized he had health issues. I am a caregiver by nature and I really had to look at what it would look like down the road if this grew into something. We had a wonderful time and I admired his strength realizing that I could be in a long-term relationship and grow with someone who had physical challenges. We saw each other for several weeks and then he stopped messaging and calling as often and I knew something
was not right. I went through a lot of self-doubt (my negativity from Embracing Your Truth Course) but I didn’t let it stop me. I needed to know what had occurred. When I finally reached him he told me his health issues were getting worse and even though he knew I was willing to be with him through these challenges, he didn’t want to drag me into this time of his life. We said goodbye and after that he quit communicating with me all together. This was very difficult for me as I truly wanted to be with him and give him support. With the support of everyone at Intuitive Development I realized I had to honor his freewill and let him go, which is not easily done when you care about someone. I was able to really feel the experiences of what both relationships meant to me and I was able to truly let go knowing why I spent the time I did with each.

I grew in my connection to Source and learned new things about myself. When I was taking a Saturday workshop I was filling out what I wanted to manifest (to be in a committed relationship) and realized as I was writing it that what I truly wanted was marriage. About a month went by when I read a profile on another dating site and felt I wanted to know more about this man. I messaged him and received a response. We talked for a couple days and decided to meet, but it was nearly a week away. I kept thinking about him and I had a strong feeling to message him to let him know I wanted to meet sooner. This feeling would not go away so I followed through, which by the way is completely outside of the norm for me! With the classes and work I’ve done I knew to trust my feelings. I told him that my feeling to meet sooner just wouldn’t go away and asked him if we could? He contacted me back and told me he was glad I followed my feelings because he didn’t want to wait either but he didn’t want to seem pushy. We met and started dating. To make a long story short, Lynn will marry us this year on November 5! A year to the day we met.

As our relationship grows I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been so grateful for all I’ve learned about myself, how to use my words and tools to understand myself and my reactions, and how we can communicate together to understand each other’s needs and wants. Our relationship gets better and better. He meets all my bottom lines (Intuitive Relationship Course) and I know that we are the most important person in each other’s lives. He tells me I give him everything he needs and wants.

In sharing my journey with others my hope is that I can help others to experience the joy that I have in learning how to embrace my truth and live my life as God/Source wishes for me.
